Shipping Errors and Damages: Great care is taken in providing you with the best merchandise. If your order arrives damaged, we will strive to make the replacement process quick and easy.
Damaged Merchandise:
Please notify both House of Design and the Carrier within 24 hours of delivery to report the damage and keep all packing materials. To report a damaged shipment, please email us at: admin@houseofdesignonlinestore.com or call 530-527-9662. Please provide us with your order number, name, address, and a description of the damage so we can let you know what to do next. If we have a replacement item in stock we will ship it to you immediately and charge your credit card for the second shipment. You will be credited for the original item including delivery once the return has been received and processed.
Incorrect Merchandise: If your return is in any way a result of an error by HouseOfDesignOnlineStore.com, we will provide you with a prepaid mailing label to return the merchandise and will happily refund all applicable shipping costs paid on the product(s) you are returning.
Refunds: We will begin processing your return promptly upon receipt of your package and will send you an email confirmation once your refund has been entered. From the time you mail the return merchandise, it can take up to 7-14 days for us to receive and process the item(s). If you placed your order with a credit card, the credit will be applied to your account immediately upon processing. Depending on the billing cycle of the card you used, it may or may not appear in the same billing period.
Important Notice Regarding Our Return Policy: Refunds will not be available if the returned products have been damaged or altered in any way before arriving back to us.
Shipping and Delivery: In-stock merchandise typically ships within 48 hours from the time the order is placed. Items sent directly from the manufacturer may take slightly longer. Orders are not processed over weekends and holidays but on the next business day. For local orders, we may choose to personally deliver large or breakable items. We make every attempt to provide you with the most accurate date of shipment for backordered items, but please note these dates are subject to change. Over-size packages will incur an additional shipping fee determined by the size and weight of the product. You will be advised of the shipping fee prior to shipment.
Shipping Fees:Please note that we do not add any additional fees to our shipping cost when shipping Fedex in the United States. We only charge the actual Fedex shipping fees. Shipping Time: Delivery time will vary depending upon your geographic location, order date and holiday periods.
Pricing:Occasionally there may be information on our Web Site that contains errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing and availability. House of Design Online Store reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, and omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order.
Sale Prices: We occasionally offer sale prices to our customers which are not applicable to prior purchases, or in conjunction with other sales, discounts, or specials. In addition all sales of Sale Items are considered final and refunds are not applicable.
Sales Tax: Items shipped within the state of California will be charged 8.25% sales tax. Items shipped outside of California are not charged sales tax.
Editing, Updating, Correcting and Deleting Information About You: We want to communicate with you only if you wish to hear from us. Please be sure to include your email address, full name, and specifically what information you do not want to receive. If you would like to update or correct your email address, street address or other personal information with us please contact us the same way. Please note that sometimes these requests may take up to 8 weeks to be effective, particularly if we are removing your name from postal mailings. In addition, when you purchase from us we may need to contact you via phone, email or mail to address questions specific to your order, even if you have opted to not receive communications.
